The comic book, a beloved form of entertainment and collectible, is being honoured today.

Although numerous books and comics came before it and contributed to its creation, Famous Funnies, published in 1933, is generally regarded as the first American comic book.

Most people typically picture a superhero in their memory of their very first comic book. It's amazing to look and see which ones are the most cherished because of this.

No other than Batman is in charge in 34 states. In more than half of the country, Bruce Wayne aka The Dark Knight is regarded as the best superhero.

The remaining characters on the list may not also come as a surprise. Spider-Man is ranked second, followed by Wonder Woman, Superman, and Wolverine.
