England Vs West Indies

In the first IT20, Andre Russell captains the hosts to a decisive four-wicket victory.

West Indies now lead the five-match series 1-0 after leg-spinner Adil Rashid became the first player in the history of the England men's team to take 100 wickets in the IT20

With three wickets and an undefeated partnership with captain Rovman Powell, Andre Russell helped the West Indies defeat England by four wickets.

After losing the toss and being put to bat first, Phil Salt (40) gave England a great start with a 77-run partnership with Jos Buttler (39).

After a brief weather delay, Rehan Ahmed (3-39) took two wickets in a row to leave the West Indies struggling at 123-6 in reply. Adil Rashid (2-14) also made an impression.

With 11 balls remaining, the West Indies managed to reach their victory target thanks to a remarkable 49-run seventh-wicket stand from Powell and Russell (29no), who then took the lead.

During his innings, Salt hit six boundaries and one six, but Shimron Hetmyer's amazing juggling catch caught him at deep midwicket.
